Arian Foster

It's that time of year again, football is in the air. You find yourself staying up late with your buddies, arguing over fantasy drafts and planning your weekends around which games you HAVE to watch....Football season is here, and man am I amped!

I drafted my fantasy team this week, and somehow God smiled upon me and as an 8th pick, I got my man Tom Brady as my numero uno QB. Life is good, and speaking of healthy lifestyle football players, Arian Foster (Running back for the Houston Texans)has recently changed his diet to Vegan causing a lot of stir in the football community during the off season. Why did he do it?

"I saw a documentary in high school that really turned me on to getting aware of it. It didn't change my diet then, but it made me think about the myths about protein. I said a while ago that when I quit playing football, I would probably become a vegetarian and I thought I needed the protein. Then I did some research with doctors who in their world are considered kind of radical. To me, it's radical we have heart disease and 12-year-old kids with diabetes."

Good point Arian - I look forward to seeing how you do this year! Read More about Arian's new life choice.

In honor of Mr. Foster - I've drafted the Texans as my fantasy defense (yes I know he's not on defense, but give me a break I can't have it all!). Let's see how this goes....
